The Who – Who’s Next

This is the fifth album by The Who, and was released in August 1971. It was their first LP release since ‘Tommy’ in 1969. The band wanted to develop their sound and did so with the help of recording engineer Glyn Johns, who used the then new keyboard and synthesizer technology on the album with them. Recorded largely at Olympic Studios in Barnes, London, the album is seen now by many as The Who’s best record, and also as one of the all time great rock albums.  It includes the classic Who songs  ‘Won’t Get Fooled Again’, ‘Baba O’Riley’ and ‘Behind Blue Eyes’.

Remastered in 2023 for the album’s 50th anniversary, this edition is pressed on 180g heavyweight vinyl.
