According to the duo, the album’s title was chosen so that people could go into a record shop and say “Can I have the Pet Shop Boys album, please?”[3] Please featured the number one hit “West End Girls” and nine other songs, including the singles “Opportunities (Let’s Make Lots of Money)”, “Love Comes Quickly”, and “Suburbia”.
