Coldplay – A Rush of Blood to the Head

The second album by Coldplay, it was released in August 2002. The album was recorded in Liverpool and London from September 2001, and many of its tracks, including the instantly recognisable Clocks, were reworked until the band were satisfied that they had created a move on from their debut album, ‘Parachutes’. The album became a big commercial success, selling over 15 million copies worldwide and winning many fans’ and critics’ awards, including three Grammys.
