Seven and the Ragged Tiger is the third studio album by Duran Duran, released in November 1983, featuring a more polished, synth-pop, and dance-oriented sound than its predecessors. It was the final album from the original five-member lineup before their initial hiatus. The album, described by Simon Le Bon as an “adventure story about a little commando team” (referring to the five band members and two managers), peaked at #1 in the UK and produced hits like “The Reflex” and “Union of the Snake”.
